EASY MAPLE BROWN SUGAR CORNBREAD


Ingredients:
  • 1 (6.5 oz) package Betty Crocker™ cornbread and muffin mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp light brown sugar
How To Make It:
  1. Preheat oven to 400° F. 
  2. Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the cornbread mix, milk, butter and egg. 
  4. Stir until just combined. 
  5. Add the maple syrup and brown sugar, and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and tap gently to even out.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown. 
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
