SPINACH DIP


Ingredients:
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 container (16 oz.) sour cream 
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 package Knorr® Vegetable recipe mix
  • 1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and chopped (optional)
  • 3 green onions, chopped (optional)

How To Make It:
  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Chill about 2 hours. 
  3. Serve with Ritz Crackers, Club Crackers, or Potato Chips.
  4. Makes 4 Cups.


You can also serve the Spinach Dip in a bread bowl.

To do this you will need:
  • 1 loaf Hawaiian or sourdough bread

How to do the bread bowl:
  1. Hollow out a large, round loaf of Hawaiian Bread (or Sourdough), leaving at least a 2 inch wall. 
  2. Place bread bowl on tray and pour in the dip. (Place extra bread pieces around spinach bowl for easy to get, bite sized pieces to dip with.)
  3. Use another loaf of bread to tear more pieces with and place around bowl. (Try out different kinds of breads. My favorites are the sweet Hawaiian rolls and sourdough.)
