Ingredients:
- 2 packages of crescent rolls
- 1 package of sweet potato patties, cut in half
- 2 Cups Water
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1 1/2 Sticks of Butter
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- Cinnamon
How to Make It:
- Take each patty half and roll it in a crescent triangle. (Makes 16 dumplings)
- In a saucepan, heat water, sugar, butter, corn starch and vanilla just until it boils.
- Be sure to whisk it as it heats, or your corn starch will not lump up.
- As soon as it boils, pour cover the dumplings.
- Sprinkle Cinnamon over top of dumplings, add as much or as little as you like according to your taste.
- Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes.
