Ingredients:
- 6 oz. tortilla chips
- 1 cup of Mexican seasoned beef
- 1/4 cup black beans
- 6 oz. queso cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- dollop of sour cream
- jalapeno slices, to taste
How to Make & Build Nachos:
- To season the ground beef, use taco seasoning mix and mix it in with the beef.
- Heat the cheese sauce in the microwave.
- Once the cheese sauce is heated, spread it over the nachos.
- Make sure to spread the cheese evenly.
- Put the rest of the ingredients on top of the cheese: the lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, sour cream, seasoned beef, and black beans.
*TIPS
- The best cheese sauce to use is in the jars near the tortilla chips section of your local supermarket.
- You can also use your favorite kind of cheese such as cheddar instead.
- For a more "baked taste" you can place the nachos in a medium oven for about 3-5 minutes before serving.
